일년 가까이 업데이트가 안되던 TBX가 다음달 정도에 새로운 버전을 발표할 것이라는군요.

업데이트되는 주요 기능으로는

1. 유니코드 지원
2. 32비트 이미지 리스트 지원, 알파채널, PNG 포맷 지원
3. 컨트롤의 투명 지원
4. 속도 향상

등이 이루어질 것이라고 하는군요. 그리고 델파이4는 더이상 지원하지 않을 것이랍니다.

Hello All

It has been more than a year since the last release of TBX. I'm really sorry
that I did not provide any decent maintenance or support since that time. At
the same time, I'm very grateful to those of you who supplied all the
patches and participated in the news group discussions.

During the past month I was actively improving the library:

1. Unicode support (almost complete now) runtime and design time.

2. 32 bpp image lists (approx. 75% complete). This includes support for
alpha blending and various effects. Design-time/runtime streaming (PNG
format), independence from comctl 6, partial(?) compatibility with standard
image lists.

3. Reimplemented control transparency (almost complete). Instead of using
clNone as before, the TBX-aware controls update their color property. This
creates less problems with non-TBX controls.

4. Various performance improvements

It looks like D4 compatibility will no longer be maintained.

It will involve much heavier patching of TB2K sources (mostly related to
Unicode support)

I plan to upload the new beta version within two-three weeks.
